Early Years Apprentice

Baruch Child Stars are seeking 6 Early Years Apprentices to support an exciting new opportunity within a Nursery setting. The ideal candidates should be committed to completing a level 3 programme and supporting a growing business.

Day-to-day duties may involve:

• Working with children between the ages of 6 months-4 years, organising activities, being pro-active with the help and care carried out within the early years sector.
• Assisting and meeting the personal/emotional needs of individual children – Changing nappies, feeding, caring and establishing a relationship with children.
• Work (under supervision) providing all aspects of care/support to children, ensuring they take part with day- to- day learning and play activities.
• Ensure that the setting is safe, clean and well presented.
• Collaborate with colleagues ensuring the highest standards of work are carried out and are provided throughout your role in a positive manner.

To contribute to a high-quality caring environment for children. This includes creating a warm, friendly and stimulating atmosphere in which the children can develop emotionally, socially and educationally through individual attention and group activities.

Training to be provided: Training for this qualification will be provided by ourselves at SCCU Group, an Ofsted good training provider. Our tuition is all delivered in the workplace and bespoke to your particular role.

  • Early Years Practitioner Level 3 Standard, 18 months

  • Functional Skills in Maths, English, and ICT (if required)

Working Week and Hours:

  • 7.30am-6pm- shifts rotate for early and late starts
