The Course Aim:
To develop your knowledge and skills required to work with children, young people and adults who have special educational needs and disabilities across educational and care settings.
Qualification upon completion:
L2 Certificate in Special Educational Needs and Disability aims to:
Develop learners’ knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities, how individuals with SEND are impacted on a day-to-day basis, and how to support them to live independent and fulfilling lives.
L2 Award in Support Work in Schools aims to:
Develop the knowledge and understanding that all those working in a school setting will need and covers areas such as safeguarding, communication and understanding the school context.
Delivery method
Virtual classroom - The curriculum will be delivered through taught sessions in a virtual classroom, via Microsoft Teams, where you will participate in the sessions and complete the associated assignments independently and with their peers.
