Content Creator Level 3 Apprenticeship

HellermannTyton has an exciting opportunity for a Content Creator Level 3 Apprentice to join them in January 2025!

HellermannTyton is an established leader in the design, development and manufacture of innovative network infrastructure solutions for both internal and external copper and fibre networks and Microducting they pride themselves on being a leading solutions provider, offering quality end to end network systems, industry and technical expertise along with first-class customer service and support.

Their extensive product range includes both internal network infrastructure and fibre broadband connectivity. All of their products are assembled to the highest standards at their purpose-built manufacturing facilities in Northampton and Niederwikling.

Key Objective

The Content Creator Apprentice will assist with day to day graphic design including datasheets, brochure layout, leaflets and image production for website. There will also be a big focus on video production and editing to help deliver marketing and business objectives

Key Responsibilities

• To assist with image production for websites, data sheets and brochure work

• To assist in the production of data sheets

• To assist in the layout work and illustrations for instruction manuals

• To take on any product photography required

• To assist with any collateral for events – exhibition graphics, pull up designs

• Large focus on video – working with digital marketing executive to produce short reels for social media

• Play a role in video production for products

• Some involvement in product animation – knowledge of Blender could be useful.     

Preferred Skills

• Skilled in use of Adobe Creative Suite, in particular Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products

• Experience in video production using Instagram/TikTok to produce informative reels and video shorts

• Ideally, some knowledge of Blender (non essential)

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team

• Photography and photo editing skills

• Experience in creating clipping paths on images

• Social media campaign experience useful

• Experience in using web content management systems useful

Future Prospect: Possibility of permanent position following successful completion of apprenticeship

Training to be provided: Training for this qualification will be provided by ourselves at SCCU Group, an Ofsted good training provider. Our tuition is all delivered in the workplace and bespoke to your particular role.

• Content Creator Level 3 Standard, 15 months practical with an additional 2 month End Point Assessment period 

• Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT (if required)

Working Week and Hours: Monday -Friday 37.5 hours per week 08.30 -16.30
