ASF E-Learning Administrator

Location: Hybrid - Midlands

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £22,000-£25,000

Responsible to: ASF E-Learning Team Leader

Liaise with: External Agencies, Learners, Delivery Staff, Project Partner Organisations, Awarding bodies and Ofsted.

Role Summary:

The role will have a strong focus on providing guidance and support to our distance learning participants to help them achieve their academic and personal goals. The E-Learning Administrator will manage a caseload of adult learners’ undertaking short courses across a range of sectors. The E-Learning Administrator will collaborate with various stakeholders, such as tutors, learning support advisors, partner organisations, Life & Progress and other support agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

 ● To manage, maintain and drive the achievement of a caseload of ASF learners undertaking learning in sectors which include Care, Digital, Management, Administration,

● Responsible for the achievement of performance KPI’s.

● Monitor learners' academic progress and provide timely intervention or support if needed.

● Ensure learners are completed on time in accordance with their planned learning end date.

● To provide advice and guidance to learners about the ASF offer and progression routes.

● To respond in a timely manner to any queries or concerns received from the learner.

● Collaborate with assessors to address learners' academic concerns and implement necessary interventions.

● Assist learners in navigating online learning platforms, educational technology, and other tools to enhance their learning experience.

● Provide information support services available to learners, including counselling or financial aid through Life & Progress

 

Skills & Knowledge:

● A good understanding of learner needs within FE provision.

● Knowledge of providing career guidance

● Knowledge and interest in personnel development

 ● The ability to promote continuous improvement in the quality of the work of the company and to raise standards of achievement for learners at all levels.

● Excellent planning, organisation, IT and administrative skills, the ability to see projects through to a successful conclusion, and a generally high level of efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience:

● Previous experience in academic advising or student support roles.

● Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with learners.

● Knowledge of educational systems, programs, and resources.

● Familiarity with online learning platforms, educational technology, and student information systems.

● Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, administrators, and other support staff.

● Organisational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

● Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriate.
