Business Development Manager ASF

Location: Midlands

Position: Type: Full-time - Hybrid

Reports to: Head of Sales

Salary: £32,000-£35,000 plus commission

Role Purpose:

To establish SCCU Training as the market leader in L&D, by developing & Advising Organisations on the learning & development opportunities offered within the SCCU Training portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

 ● To introduce employers across non-devolved regions to funded training ASF training courses that SCCU group has developed..

● Undertaking partnership development activities, account management, personal promotion in line with the SCCU Group policies and partnering/collaboration were appropriate with organisations to support and achieve the growth and financial plans of SCCU Group.

● To present and bring to life via the required means of communication the ability for SCCU Group to provide a seamless plug-in service for the Learning and Development service portfolio SCCU group provides.

● Ensure the delivery of the strategic business objectives for SCCU Training for Revenue, learners and accounts whilst maintaining and working to the culture and corporate social responsibility policies set out by the SCCU Group.

● To work with the Senior Management Team to develop and implement the Companies Strategic Development plans within the SCCU Training sales pillar and across the group were required.

To be responsible for partnership development, account management, department performance monitoring and evaluation in order that agreed expenditure profiles and output targets are met.  

● To deliver an excellent quality service to all organisations is embracing and communicating the SCCU Group approach.

● Develop and diversify the Companies Apprenticeship offer and develop, design and implement a portfolio of profitable and innovative customer oriented commercial programmes.

● Regularly update the company CRM system to provide regular and timely reports on activity, contract acquisition success rates. learner enrolment and retention.

● Maintain existing and develop new links with key partner organisations/agencies at national and local level to ensure that the SCCU Group offer is current and responding to employer and learner needs.

● Work with other managers and colleagues across the group to ensure that all necessary infrastructure, systems and processes are in place that enable learners to learn in a safe, supportive and welcoming environment.  To ensure that all SCCUs safeguarding protocols are observed.

● To complete administrative tasks as appropriate and to ensure documentation is made available as required.

● To liaise, support and cooperate with colleagues across the SCCU Group on matters of common interest.

● To adopt the SCCU Group cultural pillars and take an appropriate role in maintaining and improving the SCCU Groups working environment at all times.

● To participate in, support and identify any appropriate staff development activities, on the job learning or work based needs for SCCU Group employees across the group

● To actively promote the policies of SCCU with regard to equal opportunities.

● To undertake any other duties reasonably falling within the purview of the post.

 

General Responsibilities

● To contribute to the promotion and effective implementation of SCCU’s Equality and Diversity Policies.

● To contribute to establishing and maintaining effective systems for communicating and consulting with students.

● To ensure SCCU meets its performance targets.

● To prepare and present effective and appropriate reports on complex and diverse issues to the Senior Management Team to aid decision making and performance monitoring.

● Support the Companies aim to achieve excellence.

● Ensure that Company policies are complied with and implemented effectively.

● Support the Company to become a regional and national leader through innovative, promotional activities and events
