Coventry Plumbing and Heating Supplies have an exciting opportunity for a Business Admin Apprentice to join their busy team. They are looking for a candidate with a can-do attitude, someone who is keen to learn and wants to succeed. They are a family run business, and a close-knit group so they are looking for someone who works well within a team and who is happy and willing to help and support others.
The candidate must be able to work well in a busy environment and have good communication skills as they will be dealing with customers on a daily basis.
Key Objective
Your role will involve undertaking general admin tasks and supporting various departments within the business.
Key Responsibilities
Answering and transferring calls and emails in a concise and professional manner.
Processing quotes, sales orders and purchase orders
Supporting with social media content, promotions and events ran by the company
Using Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint
Supporting staff with the set up on new computer system, going live in the new year
Preferred Skills
No experience required, full one to one training will be provided however there must be a willingness to learn and do well.
Ability to work well in a busy environment
Good communication skills
Happy to work in a team
Organised
Confident telephone manner
IT skills including Microsoft 365
Willingness to learn
GCSE’S in both Maths and English

Business Administration Level 3 Standard, 18 months practical with an additional 2 months End Point Assessment period.
Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT (if required)
Working Week and Hours: 43 ¼ hours average
Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, every second Saturday 8am-12pm (45 minute unpaid lunch break) – can be flexible with these hours to suit candidate
Salary: National Minimum Wage £6.40p/h (will be reviewed within 6 months based on progress)
