The Course Aim:
To introduce you to working within the education sector, giving you the base knowledge to go on to other qualifications required for working in the industry. This course will upskill you to Level 1 then providing an opportunity to progress on to a Level 2 course.

Prepare learners for further learning and training, whilst developing an understanding of the teaching and learning environment in a school setting, how to support the well-being of a child or young person and child, and young person development.
Level 1 Safeguarding in Education and Childcare Settings aims to:
Give learners the knowledge and understanding of their legal responsibility to safeguard and protect the welfare of children and learners..
Delivery methods
E-Learning - The curriculum will be delivered in a learner-lead approach, where the you will take responsibility for your own learning and development.
Virtual classroom - The curriculum will be delivered through taught sessions in a virtual classroom, via Microsoft Teams, where you will participate in the sessions and complete the associated assignments independently and with their peers.
Classroom Based - The curriculum will be delivered through taught sessions in a classroom environment, where you will participate in the sessions and complete the associated assignments independently and with their peers.
