Content Creator Level 3 Apprenticeship

Hatching Dragons is a leading bilingual nursery school group in London, known for our innovative and inclusive educational environment. We focus on providing excellent early years education while fostering multicultural understanding. We are now looking for a dynamic Content Creator & Social Media Manager to join our team and help amplify our brand's presence across key social media platforms.

• Content Creation

  Develop high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing content (videos, graphics, and copy) tailored for each platform, including TikTok, Reels, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Reddit.

• Social Media Management

  Plan, execute, and manage daily posts across all platforms. Ensure content is aligned with brand messaging and target audience.

• Community Engagement

  Respond to comments, messages, and reviews, fostering a positive online community. Build relationships with parents and potential customers.

• Analytics & Reporting

  Track, analyse, and report on performance metrics to assess engagement, growth, and opportunities for improvement

• Brand Growth:

  Strategically grow our social media presence, aiming to boost followers, drive website traffic, and generate leads for our nursery schools.

• Blog Syndication:

  Coordinate and manage blog posts to ensure regular, relevant, and engaging content is shared and syndicated across platforms.

• Collaborations & Partnerships:

  Identify influencers and potential collaboration opportunities within the parenting and early childhood education space to boost our brand's visibility.

• SEO & Google My Business:

  Optimise content for search engines and manage our Google My Business page, ensuring up-to-date and accurate information is available to local users.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing, preferably in the early childhood education sector or similar.

• Strong understanding of major social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) and their algorithms.

• Experience with video creation and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or mobile-friendly editing apps).

• Familiarity with Google My Business, SEO best practices, and blog syndication.

• Strong copywriting skills with the ability to write in an engaging and authentic tone.

• Ability to analyse data and provide insights for future content and campaigns.

• Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and community engagement.

• Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of trends in early years education, parenting, or related topics.

• Experience working with charitable initiatives or community programs.

• Graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Illustrator).

• Familiarity with Reddit communities and how to engage with them effectively.

Training to be provided: Training for this qualification will be provided by ourselves at SCCU Group, an Ofsted good training provider. Our tuition is all delivered in the workplace and bespoke to your particular role.

• Content Creator Level 3 Standard, 15 months practical with an additional 2 month End Point Assessment period 

• Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT (if required)

Working Week and Hours: 30 hours per week. Hours TBC. Apprentice will need to travel between the three nursery sites in Central London

Salary: £6.40 an hour for the first 12 months then National Minimum Wage for age. Negotiable dependant on experience
