Virtual Classroom

Start your career in an Education setting, Health & Social care or Business with our Level 2 virtual classroom courses

How is this delivered?

The course is delivered online in a virtual classroom, using Microsoft Teams. You will join live sessions, complete tasks on your own and with others in your group. You will work on assignments using a range of methods, including:

  • Videos

  • Independent research

  • Group work

  • Case studies

  • Question and answer activities

  • Report writing

  • PowerPoint presentations

  • Creating leaflets

  • Witness statements

Your tutor will give you feedback on every question and assignment, helping you develop your skills and knowledge, including Functional Skills and career development.

One-to-one support is available as needed. You can also join daily group workshops for more help with difficult parts of the course.

You must attend live sessions from 11:00am – 12:30pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Our Careers and Well-being team will support you during the course and for 12 weeks after you finish.

How is this delivered?

The curriculum will be delivered in a learner-lead approach, where the learner will take responsibility for their learning and development. Learning and assessment will take place using the following methods: 

  • Videos                                                      

  • Reports Creation       

  • Independent Research                        

  • Case Studies 

  • Question and Answering                    

  • Reports Creation 

  • PowerPoint Presentations                  

  • Leaflet Creation 

  • Witness Statements 

The course material and assessments will be accessed through Microsoft Teams. 

The Tutor will provide Individual feedback on every question in every unit, which will stretch and challenge the learner, along with referencing Functional Skills needs and Personal and Career Development.  

Support sessions are available as required with the learner’s personal E-Learning Facilitator and the frequency of this support will depend on the individual needs of the learner.  

The learner will be expected to have regular interaction with their learning with a minimum expectation of learning in every month for the duration of the course.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Aged 19+ as of 31st August 2025

  • Resident in UK for last 3 years

  • Currently residing in the country

  • Earning less than £25,750

  • Not currently in study on another funded course.
