A Business Administration Apprenticeship allows for participation in the day-to-day running of a business, forming the cornerstone of a workplace.
The Business Administration apprentice will be based in the school’s Front of House office and will work alongside the Receptionist, Attendance Officer and Executive Office Manager assisting with the successful running of a busy secondary school reception.
Tasks may involve:
Making and receiving telephone calls, ensuring messages are forwarded on to relevant staff.
Dealing with visitors and parents who come into the school.
Typing of letters
Photocopying
Scanning
Filing
IT duties using Microsoft package including Outlook, Excel and Word
Use of the School Information Management System (SIMS) – full training will be given
Other IT packages relevant to the school

Level 2 Principles of Business Administration (Pre apprenticeship training provided by SCCU)

Training to be provided: Training for this qualification will be provided by ourselves at SCCU Group, an Ofsted good training provider. Our tuition is all delivered in the workplace and bespoke to your particular role. Dependent on the learner's prior knowledge.
Business Administration Level 3 Standard, 18 months practical with an additional 2 months End Point Assessment period.
Functional Skills in Maths, English, and ICT (if required).
Working Week and Hours: 39-week term time (plus 5 days to be agreed) contract over 18 months, 37.5 hours per week, term time (plus 5 days to be agreed)

You must be 19+
Have lived in the UK for the past 3 years
Not currently in education
Currently unemployed or in receipt of low wag (Under £25,000)
